Call for Artwork
General Artists
Colorado AIDS Project is currently seeking ready-to-display artwork from both artists and private collectors for the 21st Annual Art for AIDS. Artwork will be selected for auction by some of Denver’s leading curators. Don’t miss this chance to showcase your talent in front of 750 art collectors while supporting those living with HIV and AIDS. Artists may elect to retain up to 35% of the selling price of their work.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2008
Emerging Artists
Up-and-coming artists are strongly encouraged to enter the Emerging Artist Competition. The winner will receive space at a local gallery and will be featured in the Art for AIDS Live Auction. This section will be jured by Shannon Corrigan and Kara Duncan. The winner of the Emerging Artist category will then have a curated exhibition at Vertigo Art Space in the Santa Fe Art District
For purposes of this contest, Emerging Artists will be defined as someone who does not make their living from the sale or production of their artwork and who have not been featured in a professional gallery, museum, or collection.
If you qualify as an Emerging Artist and would like to contribute but do not want to be considered in the contest, you may opt out of being considered.
